Wait, this country has a national anthem?  While I'll be star spangled!  You learn something new every day.

Every time I sing the national anthem it is memorable and emotional. I thank those who fought for and continue to fight for our freedom. I am grateful to have been born in America; thank you Grandma and Grandpa who left Europe at 15 & 16 then never saw their parents again. What a privilege to be free have enough to eat, so many in this world are not. I don't remember the first time I sang it however.

I don't know. I am sure I learned it from the TV...being played before the start of sporting events.
But it was not memorable as I do not remember the first time singing it.
