Is the common treatment for Covid...no treatment...just see where it goes?

You might get an inhaler and a breathing treatment but no anti-virals.

Not sure what it is, but I've been seeing Pfizer ads that encourage anyone with an underlying medical condition to contact their physician for treatment right away if they test positive.

Probably something similar to the anti-viral Tamiflu, I'm guessing.

I've been to my Doctor and emergency twice, no one has even suggested anti-virals.

Did you consider that the reason they didn't suggest them is because they don't think you need them?

I wonder if it's a treatment that's only effective if started early on? I haven't researched it at all, just been seeing the commercials.

I would think that your course of treatment would depend on how severe are your symptoms.

Apparently Covid can stay in your body and 90-100 days after your symptoms subside it comes back with a vengeance.  It then can leave lasting debilitating damage.  The Doctor in this report suggested taking anti-virals for that 100 day time frame.  The people interviewed all had various life long damage they now have to live with from the brain to the digestive system and in-between.  Now it's too late, they can't go back and take those anti-virals.  I'm really scared because Covid has come back in my case.  I don't think anyone will listen to me.

Perhaps I'll write Elon Musk a letter and ask him to make it happen.  With his resources and money there's no doubt he could make it happen immediately.  I saw my almost immediately, I had covid face and all the symptoms.

What you don't know is how many of those who end up with long Covid had underlying health issues that exacerbated their problems.

Elon Musk is not a doctor and you're foolish to rely on him for medical advice.  Go see your doctor.

    https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/13-things-to-know-paxlovid-covid-19

"You have to take Paxlovid within five days of developing symptoms.

Like all antivirals, Paxlovid works best early in the course of an illness—in this case, within the first five days of symptom onset, says Jeffrey Topal, MD, a Yale Medicine infectious diseases specialist who is involved in determining COVID-19 treatment protocols for Yale New Haven Hospital patients.

Once you’ve been ill with the virus for more than a week, the damage done to the body in a severe case can’t be undone by the antiviral,” he says."

So they say. Covid hasn't been around long enough to establish much of anything.  Talk to people who have actually had it and listen to their stories.

I have had Covid since the very end of May June 1 is when I suspected it might be Covid.  I'm still testing positive.  That means covid is still hiding in my body somewhere and I think anti virals would still be effective, perhaps not as effective but still.  They should be offered over the counter to anyone who has Covid. I did't have anyone by my side to mediate my treatment and was too sick to think of all that.

Probably a good time to get it if enough time has passed after the first one.  With the newest variant sweeping through the population, you'll have better immunity.

It is number 1 on my agenda as soon as it's safe to do.  Not sure if I can get it so close to having Covid.

You are quoting information that may have been accurate back in January 2021.  It is now July 2022 and there have been more variants since the original Covid 19.

Showing that we have known since the end of 2021 that natural immunity is stronger and remains effective longer than the jab.

Now these newer variants may not give as strong a immune response....this is because they are weaker than the original.    And still more risk from the clot shots than from the actual disease for most people. That is how viruses evolve....they get weaker and more contagious.  (Don't kill your host, so you can come back)

As St. Fauci said we are entering the endemic phase of the virus, just as the flu is, etc.

If you want to take an annual clot shot go ahead but do not think you can demand it of others.

    Sincerely,  Dr M2C

If you believe that's what the links I posted suggest (that natural immunity is better than and lasts longer than vaccines) then you did not understand what you read.  I don't demand anything from anyone.  What I suggested was that Honey Dew read current information and make an informed decision for herself.

You posted a link to a Google search.

Yes, we should all do our due diligence and research on anything that has to do with our health.  And we should be aware that Google censored doctors who said anything negative or even simply something positive about something else other than clot shots and St Fauci approved meds.  Information should not be censored.

You may not but the liberal in power did and do.....ie. NY Gov, CA gov, Biden and his handlers.

Here is study from April 2022.

Thank you. I already take Areds 2 which has zinc, additionally I take 4,000 units of Vitamin D a day and have done so for at least 6 months.  My Dr. said my D levels are now high and to cut back, I started taking just 2,000 per day a weeks ago.  This post was edited by Honey Dew at August 11, 2022 10:23 AM MDT
