Is Supreme Court your main concern with the election for the coming POTUS? What guarantees do you have that they will stick to their words?

One point in view is given inside the blog that's quoted here...

What is Trump's agenda? Among other things, Trump has come out in favor of the government censoring the internet, shuttering houses of worship, depriving religious minorities of due process and equal protection, forcibly confiscating private property, gutting libel laws in order to make it easier to silence journalists, ordering U.S. forces to commit torture and other war crimes, and imposing a nationwide "stop and frisk" scheme in order to "take the gun away." For those of you keeping score at home, that means that Trump—at a minimum—has endorsed government infringements on the principles contained in the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, the Fifth Amendment, the Eighth Amendment, the 10th Amendment, and the constitutional doctrine of limited and enumerated executive powers.

Now consider Trump's SCOTUS list. The most impressive names on that list are all judges who have distinguished themselves by voting to enforce constitutional and/or statutory limits against illegitimate and overreaching government power. Is Trump likely to nominate the sort of justices who will enforce such limits against Trump's own power? I sure wouldn't bet on that.

I like the judges on Trump's list. If he doesn't pick as good judge then he will be a one term President.
There is always a chance the candidate will not live up to their campaign promises. But why would I vote for the candidate who I disagree with because the my candidate might not follow through?

And the damage done. Thank you for your reply. I guess you didn't really look up that blog entry. It's okay, you have previously shown you are willing running that risk wit Trump doing what he does best, not stick to his words. We will soon know better. One way or another.

So based on all the lies Clinton has told...are you considering voting for Trump or Johnson?  No your not... because you agree with Clinton regardless of whether she could be lying or not.
Same thing with me. I disagree with Clinton and with Johnson. I have a chance of getting what I want with Trump.

I doubt your chance of getting what you want with Trump. That is, unless you want the Constitution and the amendments disrespected. You sure will keep your second amendment. Who cares for free speech anyway, right? This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at November 7, 2016 7:32 AM MST

It is not Republicans who try shutdown free speech. Not Republicans who what safe zones, free speech zones, who go around college campuses tearing down flyers for events they don't like....
Not Republicans who try to out law movies that don't cast a good light on their candidate.

    Hello SH:

Yeah...  The Supreme Court will impact the nation for the balance of the century..   By then, Hillary Clinton will be a footnote in history..

While nobody can be sure how a justice will vote, I'm confident that a liberal court would UPHOLD a laundry list of accomplishments that have moved this country forward..

Those things are in jeopardy with a Trump court.

I think a lot of things will be in jeopardy with a Trump anything. I sure don't trust him on respecting any of the amendments. He is dangerous, unfortunately it seems concerning a larger part of the voters less. His words should stand alone and tell plenty on how he doesn't respects anything about the constitution or the amendments.
