I watched it and found it quite interesting but I didn't feel better.

You did? How cool is that? We have similar interests apparently although we don't always agree. So what, right? I didn't feel better either but I thought it was so interesting the word choices made that many centuries ago. Is it prescient or balderdash? I dunno. Thank you for your reply Tom! :)

    The anti-Christ.

That fits the bill to perfection.    I think he said the Anti-Christ will come out of the West.  He said that people at first will love him and think his words are wise.  He will destroy the world.

    Fits perfectly.

    I'm sorry. I must disagree.

There is NOTHING new with Trump. Most of his rhetoric and purported policies are essentially the same as those the GOP has promulgated since 1980 or before (the racism/xenophobia goes back to the 1960s).

The only real difference is in the lackof  coding of the rhetoric. Whereas earlier Republicans talked about "law and order" and "welfare queens", Trump talks about "Mexican rapists" and "Democrats have caused black poverty."

Trumps rhetorical techniques are typical of those used by demagogues throughout history.

    We've seen this all before.
