The Spanish translation of the English word “tuna” is “atun”. ~

What are some other words that when translated from one language to another are scrambles of each other‘s letters AND have the exact same meaning or definition. Any two languages, and please give the English translation of any foreign words, and name the language(s). Thank you.

    Felina - Spanish
    Finale - English

Both of these mean 'the end'.

Er, um, I don’t think that word means what you think it means in Spanish. Maybe Italian or some other language.

It’s a near cognate of the English (load loan) word feline, but in Spanish, it’s gender-specific.
    Male — felino
    Female — felina

You know, I wondered about that! Hehehe!

I was thinking of the final episode of Breaking Bad (which Element99 hates because it's an insult to science teachers). I guess 'Felina' doesn't mean 'finale' in Spanish, it's just the word 'finale' rearranged.
