Funny you mention that.  It's exactly what happened to me last evening while I was watching TV.  I dozed off twice and then decided to finally just go to bed.  Unfortunately, I woke up at 2 AM and couldn't go back to sleep until around 4 AM.

That sounds like a typical evening here. I doze off in the chair and my wife on the couch.

I hate when that happens because it usually spoils my night's sleep.

Don’t you and your wife like it when you doze off on top of her on the couch? Sounds like great fun to me, but then again, I always think with Randy brain. Seventy years old and you’ve still got it!

I certainly do! You might be missing out on a lot of fun if you’ve never done it or if you’ve never had it done to you! Let me explain what it’s like. First of all, you need to decide if you want to be the squisher, the squishee, or alternate between the two roles. Then you should . . . you know, I can do this a lot better through active demonstrations instead of just trying to describe it. Hold that thought while I book a flight.

I just what? And please quit calling me Shirley; I’ve explained that it was only a phase that I was going through and I explored new and different ways to express myself. Besides, the hosiery and skirts kept getting caught on my leg hairs, and no matter how much I practiced walking in those high-heeled shoes, I never truly got it and almost broke an ankle several times.  Grrrrrrr.

You do not have to be 60 to do that,
40s can do it very easily.

Nope. I’m not one of the ones who were on your lawn.

That would be wonderful, rarely am I naturally tired.  Melatonin gets me to sleep at night then takes until 10 a.m. to get completely out of my system.  Do wake up at 5 am to let the cats out and read the morning news then back to bed from 8-10 am.

It happens.  If I'm not cleaning and I relax on our sofa there is always that danger.  When even a few years ago I could just relax and read and put off sleeping until I went upstairs.

Occasionally...... usually after a fairly heavy dinner.

    Well, I am 70 now.
