Obama wants a billion dollars for his post presidency legacy, wouldn't it be great if it all came from our tax dollars? The least we can do for this "nice" man? Do the American people owe him anything?

Hey, if President Obama want to try to raise $1 billion to fund his library from private sources, how is that any of our business? Presidents have been doing it for decades. Is it any worse than LeBron James being paid $200 million+ for the socially useful skill of putting a rubber ball through a metal hoop?

Where did peaceofmind50 say that the funding will come from tax dollars? He only said "wouldn't it be great if . . . ", near as I can tell. And then he further questioned if the American people owed him (Obama) anything. You gotta brush up on those reading comprehension skills . . .
