What are some memorable points about the first time you ever filed an income tax return?

I took my stuff to an accountant and he and I did it together so I could do it thereafter.  He was a friend's brother.  I gave him a $20 bill which he tried to refuse. 

My first tax return was done more than 60 years ago.  I couldn't recall the occasion if I tried!

My brother and I were filling out our tax forms together. I was not sure how to answer the question about if I hadn't filed last year, what was the reason. So I looked at what my brother had written, and copied it. 'I never had a job before.'  It's odd that I remember that.

Under $50 return sent in by mail. EFile would have cost more than the return itself.
