Is football the most intellectually destructing sport and you need to be just so imperfectly shaped of an animal to be included in it?

In September 2023, an article in The Atlantic titled "The Joy and the Shame of Loving Football" criticized football for being morally precarious, damaging to players' bodies and brains, and owned by billionaires. The article's author said that they would still watch some games, but that football is part of the problem. Just imagine the mentalities.

    Okay right so, fine. The thing is though Thriftymaid, I am a consummate chess freak and that is brain football. Naturally, we tend to be enemies. Chess is brain football..chess is brain football ...Actually Im wrong. Chess is virtually a virtual fistfight.. chess is a brain based fistfight. Pure strategy and tactics with zero luck actually.
