Roe did not find abortion to be constitutional or legal.  It found that a woman's right to have an abortion stems from her right of privacy as to control of her body.  An expectant father has no right to such control over his wife's body.   It was a crappy opinion.   Today, the law(s) on abortion are one huge conglomerate of WTF!  Politicians use abortion to keep the country talking and fighting about it.  We should be smart enough to see that and not let it be the reason for electing a particular candidate for office.  Americans are descending quickly and I hate being here to see it.  God bless us!

When the father abandons his responsibilities (which is the case in better than half of elective terminations), what gives a bunch of old white men any say in the matter at all? These old farts are even trying to make contraception either illegal or very difficult to get, a position which is morally indefensible.

No one is trying to make contraception illegal.

Why are you bringing race into this?

That is why we have DNA tests and laws to force men to pay support for their children.   Where is your data for the claim over half of the elective abortions are for a absent father?

Because other people who can vote may happen upon the conversation and it may show facts that they did not know.

Same reason for debating someone who you know will never change their minds.   Other people may read it and influence them.
