Should someone who doesn't understand the VP role be in US goverment?

VP's job is whatever the President assigns to them. Along with being the tie breaking vote in the Senate. Biden has made it very clear more than once that Kamala Harris has been very involved in making decisions about both foreign and domestic policy throughout his presidential term. 

As has the WH Press secretary making it clear that this it the Biden/Harris Administration.
