What should I do with the pens when its about to stop writing?

On this paper here, I try write across with that brown pen, then it only draw a really light of a brown mark there, then write with a red pen from the multi-color pens, then it leaving some spaces between the red pen line, then what should I do with these pens here-so it can write again?
Should I try taking it apart?-I may see where the attached pieces on the pen where I might could take it apart from.?
Or do I may just have to buy new brown & red pens?
I probably want to try to find a way to see if I might can try getting the pen to be working again before I start to buy another pen!

Shake (flip) from top towards the writing tip - hard - at least 10-15 times.  This will dislodge any ink in the filler and propel it to the writing tip. This post was edited by Shuhak at November 11, 2024 11:13 AM MST

Will that work for any kinds of pens, even for multi-color pens too?

    And this one here:

I don’t know if it’s hard to see here, inside this pen the brown stuff in it looks dried, is there anything I can do on this too?

It should.  Just make sure the cap is on.

Okay & on something like a pilot pen, when the stuff in the tube inside of it is all dried-up that was for the ink to write with, then don’t know if anything that I can do on that (pilot) pen, or do I just have to buy a new pen with that color?

If ink is dried up, toss pen and get a new one.  I know of no way to make it good again.

There’s no brown pen in this multi-color pen set, so I just buy another separate brown pen.
Could be called a gel pen.

You could try standing the pens up in a glass with the tip pointing down for a day or so.That causes all the ink to move down to the tip. Cheers!

Okay & should I put any water to the pen tip standing-up?
I read in Google to use alcohol on the pen tip using a swab or cotton ball.
