Not directly.  PACs are legal and they are not limited.

Ask Soros he knows all about it too.

Again, Musk do not donate anything to Trump directly.  He donated to at least 2 different Trump supporting PACs. This post was edited by my2cents at December 27, 2024 7:14 AM MST

Elon Musk is not a government contractor. Space X Corporation is a government contractor.   Musk can donate his personal money to any PAC he wants. SpaceX  cannot donate to any PACs.

Musk is always wearing Space X t-shirts and I’m pretty sure he wore one of those shirts when he had a – you wash my back and I’ll wash your back – lunch date with Trump. Cheers and happy holidays!

Thank goodness! I was afraid we were not going to allow billionaires to influence the government who is helping enrich them.

Just explaining, it is legal. Being rich does not remove your 1st amendment rights.

Being legal doesn't make it good for the country. Citizens United was the worst ruling the Supreme Court made.

Taking someone's rights who is not a criminal is never good for the country.

If we believe in no taxation without representation,  then a business also has rights. Those businesses should be under the same limits as an individual though.

What you call freedom of speech, I call bribery. I would like the government not to be for sale.

Courts called it Freedom of speech and freedom to address the government....

I consider Dredd, Buck/Bell and Roe/Wade the worst SCOTUS decisions.   This post was edited by my2cents at December 27, 2024 1:18 PM MST
