Discussion»Questions»Random Knowledge» In the early days of Answerbag every Thanksgiving Rich would ask us to share what we were thankful for. What are YOU thankful for? Why?
Having been born in the U.S.A and not some Third World craphole. My family and friends The opportunity to get a good education, which in turn allowed me to have well paying jobs The freedom to speak my mind and do the things I like doing. My good health and mental acuity. My boss who, for the past 25 years, has treated me more like a family member than an employee.
((Hugs)) Thanks honey. That is a beautiful list of things for which to be thankful. I appreciate that you took the time to share it with us! Happy Saturday Spunky! :) I am thankful for you! :)
Thank you for your sweet reply Lulu's Mom. I appreciate it. I think being grateful for what we have isn't done enough by enough people. We hear more about what they want/don't have. I always think that if we are not grateful for what we have it will be taken away from us and given to those who will appreciate it. So as long as I can remember I have been appreciate/grateful every day in every way. Why take a chance? ((hugs))
I am very thankful for my health, my wonderful husband, my children, my closest friends and family, my pets, my home, and the ability to always bounce back from life's challenges.
Thank you for your reply PeaPod and the compliment. I appreciate both. It's very good that you know what you have to be grateful for. Many people don't. I wonder why good things are wasted on people who don't value them? Happy Sunday! :)
Me too. I don't know how I would have gotten through some of the tough times the last bunch of years if I did not have Jim by my side. I don't. Very lucky me and I know it! Thank you for your reply PeaPod and Happy Tuesday! :)

Donald Trump is President. I am not really in a Thankful mood this year. I feel like visiting a Cemetery this Thanksgiving.
