Think Obama is kicking himself right about now?

How President Trump Repurposed an Obama-Era Agency Into DOGE In a masterstroke of strategic governance, President Trump transformed an obscure Obama-era agency into the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), utilizing its existing legal framework, funding, and regulatory infrastructure. This allowed DOGE to bypass traditional bureaucratic obstacles and immediately begin operations without requiring new legislation or congressional approval. The Origins: Obama’s 2014 Agency During the Obama administration in 2014, a lesser-known agency was created with a broad mandate to modernize government operations, streamline efficiencies, and reduce wasteful spending. The agency was originally positioned under the Executive Office of the President (EOP), meaning that it had direct ties to the White House but had minimal visibility or major operational impact.  Key Features of the 2014 Agency:  Already had a budget allocated from discretionary executive funds  Came with regulatory authority over government spending and administrative efficiency  Operated without requiring congressional approval for many of its activities  Had access to government financial databases, payroll systems, and spending reports However, under Obama, the agency remained largely symbolic—another paper-pushing entity that provided reports on government spending but lacked enforcement power. Trump’s Bold Move: Repurposing It Into DOGE When President Trump returned to office, he identified this agency as a dormant asset that could be transformed into a powerhouse for eliminating government waste, rooting out corruption, and holding bureaucrats accountable. By repurposing rather than creating a new agency, Trump was able to:  Bypass Congressional Funding Battles – The agency already had an approved budget, so no new funding was needed. Democrats couldn't stop it.  Utilize Existing Legal Authority – Since the agency had oversight of government spending, DOGE could immediately begin auditing, investigating, and enforcing accountability.  Expand its Powers via Executive Order – Trump rebranded and expanded its authority, appointing Elon Musk to lead its efficiency overhaul.  Grant Direct Access to Federal Spending – DOGE could immediately audit departments like HHS, DOJ, State, and Education without needing new legislative approval.
DOGE in Action: Why Bureaucrats Are in Panic Mode Since its launch, DOGE has been aggressively exposing fraud, eliminating wasteful programs, and cutting bureaucratic red tape.  Immediate Impacts:  Exposed billions in government waste and fraudulent NGO funding  Implemented real-time audits of federal agencies  Blocked unapproved spending at multiple departments  Forced bureaucrats to justify their budgets—or lose them This explains why D.C. elites are in panic mode, frantically searching for criminal defense attorneys and ways to move their money offshore. Final Thought: The Genius of Trump’s Move Rather than battling Congress for a new agency, Trump played by the existing rules and won. He took their own infrastructure, rebranded it, and used it against them.  The Deep State never saw it coming.
What do you think? Was this a genius political move or what?

I think Obama knows that Trump and his Cadre of crooks will exploit many more facets of government than just this one. Trump did not just rename it, he changed its focus to something other than its intended mission. Its purpose was to update technology so that Americans could better utilize online platforms to access government services. I'm sure Trump is very proud of himself.
