Did the early cigarettes and beer really decliningly contort your brain beyond truthfulness?

Lie to get your next fix. While early cigarettes and beer didn't literally twist the physical structure of the brain to make someone dishonest, their addictive properties and neurological effects absolutely could lead to significant cognitive impairments, behavioral changes, and a compromised ability to reason, remember, and therefore, potentially to speak or perceive "truthfulness" accurately. The phrase likely captured the observed impact of these substances on individuals' minds and lives. Don't do street drugs.

Nope.  I've never drank, smoked, or done drugs.  I have no need of that junk, nor have I any desire to make my mind dissipated.  The only "escape mechanism" I could ever need is Jesus.

Ya but, please, please, please don't become radicalized and shut your mind. If that's your way to be social, great! My brother did say what did you even step in the church door for he's so secular:) He doesn't like hurting Christian values. If you sneeze he would not say God bless you I promise that. Yucky, dirty old sneeze. Carl Sagan smoked pot for insight he said. Yippie! This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at May 8, 2025 4:40 PM MDT
