Me, I always had faith in Jesus; i find what He brought to the world is beautiful,
but like sometimes i'm mixed....
All my life, i've talked to God and I never saw/heard Him.
also, I find the thing that going to hell for eternity, is quite terrible...
How can you think that someone will go burn in hell for eternity, and it will never end.... this is quite weird to me.
I believe in God, and that He sent His Son Jesus to earth in a human body, not only to show us God (God incarnate) and to die for our sins.
No one has seen God save the Son (John 1:18). Since God is Holy and we aren't, we cannot see Him (physically). However, by looking at Jesus we can "see" the Father (John 14:9).
God does "speak" to us, but not in some audible voice. He speaks through His Word (the bible) – Hebrews 1:1. I constantly speak to God (through prayer). When I see His awesome creation around me as well as all the things He’s done and all that He continues to do, I can’t help but praise Him (thank Him). I’m now at a point in my life where I can look back on my life and see many of the times He has helped me through difficult times; times when He didn't give me what I asked for (and am I ever thankful for that), as well as times He provided for me - even the times when I didn't think He could or would. Sometimes (ok, many times) I need help in life (encouragement, strength, guidance, wisdom, etc.) so I ask God for them - and He provides.
Hell IS a dreadful place. Hell is a place where God isn't - not one single aspect of Him. God is love, peace, mercy, light, beauty, and order. Thus where God isn’t there is nothing but chaos, misery, pain, suffering, darkness, and loneliness - in other words, unmitigated agony. This is why Jesus referred to “hell” as a place of “unquenchable fire, or, as we call it, "burning in hell".
Hell was created for Satan and his followers, not people. However, anyone who doesn’t follow God follows Satan – and will go where he goes. We (that is, humans) were created as eternal beings, meaning that we will exist forever. Although our physical bodies will perish, we (that is, our soul/spirit) will NEVER die. Death simply means separation. Physical death is when our soul and flesh are no longer joined (James 2:26). Although our physical body dies, our soul still lives on (Ecclesiastes 12:7). Spiritual (eternal) death is being eternally separated from God and all that He is. While we are alive in the body, WE have a choice to make - where we want to spend that eternity. There are ONLY two choices - with God (in heaven) or without Him (in hell). Since the presence of God isn’t in hell (as stated above), those who go there will be eternally separated from Him (also called the "second death" in Revelation 20:14). Don't be misled - eternity is forever... whether that eternity is in heaven or hell!
Anyone who has sinned is doomed to spend eternity in hell. Unfortunately, EVERYONE has sinned (Romans 3:23). But the good news is that God sent His son (Jesus) to die for our sins (take our deserved punishment). ALL who believe on Jesus and obey WILL BE SAVED (spend eternity with Him)! Sadly, many people don't care. They ignore God (scoff at Him); trample His Son under their feet (meaning they treat Him and His sacrifice as worthless). They delude themselves into thinking that they are all there is, and live their lives on earth in opposition to God. One day, ALL will stand before God in judgement. ALL who have despised Him, rebelled against Him, and disobeyed Him will be cast into hell (unending and unmitigated agony) – for all eternity. ALL who have put their faith in Jesus will be with Him (where there will be no pain, no suffering, no sickness, no darkness, no dying, and no sorrow) – for all eternity.
THIS is what I believe!
