If “someone” isn’t willing to provide me with his or her (ok, her) address, latitude and longitude should suffice, right?

    It might in theory but in urban areas it would likely need be defined to fractions of seconds of arc.

    Not sure I'd trust any satellite-navigation system to pin-point it accurately, judging by the occasional strange navigation ideas that in my car has!
