Today they had a Rock the Plaza festival in down town Parksville.
It was pretty groovy but also a little sad because it was the closing event for the Parksville Beach Festival. I have been having a lot of summertime fun for the past 3 months but now the only thing left to do in Parksville is shop.
I do need new fall and winter out fits plus were getting a new Dollar Rama store in October so I guess its not so bad.

Thought I would add that when they played the YMCA song I figured it was time to go.
But I’m glad I didn’t because it was a delight seeing people dancing to it the way it was ment to be danced to – same with the Macarena there is only one way to dance to it.
If I had to explain Trump’s YMCA dance to a blind person it would be like this – now smirk - now smirk - now smirk smirk smirk smirk. Now thumb – now thumb - now thumb thumb thumb. Now hip – now hip – now hip hip hip - don’t forget there is lots of it - now hip – now hip – now hip hip hip.
