So much more in life is more important to me than keeping with every single detail in politics that seem to change by the hour in this now-news-24-hours-a-day, always, never stopping and constant social media blasting this-and-that and Trump himself, on his site, name calling, every night, in all CAPS people he hates. I choose not to keep up with politics when other things more strongly compel me. But I respect that politics are strong topics for you like music and movies and books and tuna and mac-n-cheese are more strong topics for me than politics.
If Swallwell is a disaster, Trump is even worse to me.
I respect that we're all entitled to our opinions and I find voting by mail legit in many cases.
Answering your question now! :) However, voting by phone seems to me wrong, yes. Especially now that phones can buy my groceries, deliver them, and a phone can drive me to the bathroom and relieve myself for me.
For the mid-terms of 2026, I plan to create an AI hologram of myself who will easily go to my voting site and it will vote for me. :)
EDIT: I added some more thoughts. Yeah, I'm overthinking again. Be Well, :)
EDIT: I didn't overly-research before answering your question but, as I did, I saw several news sites questioning if Swallwell even lives in California. And I realize people can have more than one residence in different states but I find where one lives rather important when they're running for governor. Again, I admit I didn't deeply research the topic.
EDIT#3: Geez, relax Welby. But, in short, regardless of my previous attempts at humour - - yes, I do not believe voting by phone is the way to go.
