when enough old, will you be in peace knowing death is near ?

All my life ive been close to the faith in Jesus

 

mostly because of my mom who is christian and goes to church. 

 

I know the bible and all 

and even sometimes in dreams i get messages who seems like I could never had came up with that.


Are you in confort when death will be close ?

    Death knows no age.  It is always "at the door" (we are always just a heartbeat away from it).  Death is an unknown to us (as in what happens next).  We all know deep inside that after death there will be a reckoning (judgment) for how we lived.  Thus death brings fear.  However, many try to shrug this off, thinking that death is nothing (nonexistence).  Some even go as far as worshipping it.  "Eat drink and be merry today, for tomorrow we may die."

    However, for those who put their faith in Jesus, death holds no fear.  While everyone (good or evil) will be judged, Romans 8:1 says, "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus".  Those "in Christ" will go from life to life (the body will die, but they will go to be with Him at death).

    Please know that one cannot "ride the coattails" of their parents or friends" to Jesus.  They MUST have their OWN faith in Him.  Knowing the bible or simply believing that God exists isn't enough either ("even the demons believe and shudder").  One must believe in (faith) and obey (obedience doesn't simply mean doing good works) Jesus.


    As for me, I don't fear death.  While I'm not thrilled about it, I am as ease with it as I have faith in Jesus, and know He will bring me safely through it.

    It makes me sad to see so many people out there who fear death or think its simply a "way out".

    You know it's insane enough to have somebody die inside because of the people they meet are hell and they have to change their ways to accommodate so of course they're going to say they lived 20 lives so your interpretation of death could be nothing afterward or you die while you're living that's always true right or wrong?
