    Of course not.  If I painted it , then I MEANT to be painted it that way. (makes it unique)

    This reminds me about the Campers rules for cooks while camping.  If anyone has any comments about the meal someone else cooked;  they say "this sure has a lot of salt in it, but that's just the way I like it."  If anyone has any complaints about the meal they have to cook the next one.  Some camping cooks are known for the "unique" meals they cook.  They never made a mistake, it's the way they planned it.

    To answer your question.  The very first room I ever chose the paint for and painted myself.  It was supposed to be white with pink undertones.  The first bit I painted turned out a bright darker pink.  Called the paint store, was assured it would lighten as it dried.    It didn't...I discovered after painting the entire room, it was ghastly.
