Have you ever sent food back at a restaurant and ordered a new meal?

Or did you tell them you weren't hungry anymore?

  • If I send something back, I don't want it replaced. Usually, I just don't eat it and when the waitress asks if I want it to-go, I tell her no, that i didn't like it or it wasn't cooked right.

Probably.  I have eaten in many restaurants by now.  I'm sure I did once or twice.  That is not a habit of mine.  I don't usually complain unless I am hungry and it is not edible.

  • I usually just eat it.. even if i don't like it... I know that's wrong in a way because i believe if someone does something wrong you should say so..but for some reason when it comes to meals and restaurants.. i don't ..Perhaps because i feel they still worked hard to cook it..it's not their fault I didn't like it

  • Nup. It has possibly only happened three times in my life, but If the first bite is not pleasant, I won't touch the rest of it. I write a note on a paper napkin, asking the cook to taste the food. Then I leave and don't come back.

I have done that except I had the server tell the cook.

  • Once I've sent it back and refused to pay ... It was supposed to be chicken in a strawberry sauce ... No need to go there ... It turned up as half a Barbecue chicken with Strawberry jam snared on it .. I never tried it just sent it back

  • NEVER DO THAT. They will spit in your food...or worse.
