No. You got me all wrong. I love it. I want us all to use it more. It is a cool word. I just never hear it. I am a lover of weird words. Ask Old School about hegemony sometime when you are bored. LOL
I am innocent. I really liked that he did that, I mean, O U Know putting that word in the question. Quaint is not an insult at all. Quite the opposite. Kind of like old and charming. I wanted to revise erstwhile. That is what I said to the Maid because she liked it too.
I often misunderstand what I read on here, and I can be most unclear myself. So, I'm glad you know I am not poking fun of this poor word. I love erstwhile.

I'm sorry I misinterpreted it, and your saying. I love words too, unfortunately I won't be as rich in my English vocabulary as native speaking persons. My loss.

I just really want you to know I notice subtle things about everyone and I would have never guessed English was not your native tongue. You could speak any language as your native tongue, I just have no idea and it is not my business at all. LOL
