Trying to find my cell. I lose it all the time. It's the ONLY reason I have a landline so I can call it when it's lost - which I've done MANY times.

  • I lost mine the other day.  Thank goodness my neighbor found it outside my door and have it back to me the next morning.

I bought one of those little pouches to put mine in.  I swore I was gonna wear the damn thing around my neck so I wouldn't lose it.  Unfortunately, I haven't gotten in the swing of doing that every day.  So in the meantime, I pay the landline bill.  It's just a bummer when the battery goes dead.

Glad you had an honest neighbor.

  • I am too. She saved me a lot of money. She's a sweetheart. I doubt I'll ever have another landline, can't see paying for one when both me and my daughter have phones.

  • I had mine long before she got one. She was two or three when I got my first one, I think she was 11 or 12 she I got her her first one.

Neither would stress me out too much.  I use my landline; the cell is in my purse for when I'm away from home.   I watch little TV, but more now with Netflix.  I guess I wouldn't stress; I would run out and buy a universal replacement.  Then all would be fine yet again. :)

  • I don't have a land-line, so losing my phone really can cause me problems. Losing my remote is bad as well, I don't have cable but I do have a Roku. I need the remote to access it.

I could live without either one, but I would rather lose my remote. I have an app on my phone that also works as a remote control.

  • That's cool, I guess they do have an app for everything. :)

My TV has built in Roku and the app is from Roku.

  • Yeah.  Both aggravates me,  but the phone stresses me out more.  I don't have a land line to use as a back up.

Losing my phone would definitely be more stressful.

Fear of running out of money and no way to replenish.
