If they erected a statue in your honor, what would you have done to deserve it?

  • Written a few super good books -
although I think the likelihood of that is about the same as finding a star on the other side of the universe without the aid of a Hubble.

  • I'm trying to get one finished.  It's a good story but I'm stuck.

  • They say knowing the outcome is the key to the plot.
I'm no expert, but I love playing with new problems.
    Message me if you like,
    for shared lateral thinking brainstorming.
Or maybe post the scenario in a question and see how many different ideas people suggest.
John Cleese once said, "The really good idea is always traceable back quite a long way, often to a not very good idea which sparked off another idea that was only slightly better, which somebody else misunderstood in such a way that they then said something which was really rather interesting." • I'm not gonna make the joke I almost did.  Probably would need deleting.  ;)

  • YOU don't have to do anything to deserve it - just being you is enough.
    I bet it's bronze too. ;-)

  • That would be statue worthy.  :) Not a lot of people can say that.

The only things I have ever done that might be considered of note are standing by and taking care of people.  I consider that standard procedure, however.

  • That's probably the best thing anyone could ever do.

Yep...and people do it every day, all across the world.  :)

  • Then we need statues in every city erected in honour of all carers - such as a bronze of a nurse taking the TPR - perhaps in Rondanesque style.

My boss might have had a statue made of me leaning on a shovel when I was supposed to be working.

    Something very heroic, I suppose.
You either get statues for being a badass, a dictator or for being the best at something.
I would prefer the heroic option. It's the most likely one.
