Since California Voters voted to require a background check to buy Ammo; how much do you think neighboring state's ammo sales will increase?

I assume the purchaser will have to pay a fee for the background check which will add to the cost of the ammunition?

Does California know how to lose tax revenue better than any other state?

Well, they just legalized recreational marijuana. That will probably make up any tax shortfall from lost ammo sales.

California has people in it that don't want bullets.  Savvy?

There are better ways to make money than bullets.  I don't think Cali will starve without those killer missiles in everyone's kitchen drawer.

Now Texas may die of starvation if they ever pass that bill there.

The curious thing is I happen to AGREE that California's law on ammo sales is probably silly and counterproductive. I have a good friend who lives in California and who enjoys shooting firearms for recreation. He gives me chapter and verse about all the silly gun laws in California, and most of the time I think he has a reasonable basis for his complaints.

But objecting to the background check on ammo sales because of lost tax revenue is heavy-duty concern trolling. It really is a minor aspect of the question.

Exactly.  The responsible humans are in the minority once more, so everyone has to pay the price.  Concerned parents have to give up a lot to babysit their kids 24/7. They need to watch everything the child does to protect them because they cannot think for themselves and make responsible decisions.

So, we are the parents of unbridled morons who cannot be trusted to behave with such things as bullets.  So your friend winds up suffering.

I had no idea Wey was so astute regarding the economy.  Much less the economy of California.

Another example of liberals in office, face it they have no vision or knowledge of solving problems other than jumping the gun with simplistic answers.

@TT -- Yep, all those STOOPID EBIL LIBRUHLZ ruining the state of California. It's so awful only 38 million people want to live there and the draconian STOOPID EBIL LIBRUHL polices have the ruined the economy so it's only the 6th-largest economy world.

Clearly it's Hell on Earth because of the TEH STOOPID EBIL LIBRUHLZ.
