    The hypocrisy of the US is laughable. We cite the atrocities of other countries as an excuse to invade/bomb them, yet there are many who have no problem with the US engaging in such atrocities and torture.

    I'm sorry. John McCain has no credibility becaues he had an opportunity to IMPEACH PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR WATERBOARDING...and he didn't do it.

    I agree with McCain, and I think all the evidence supports the conclusion waterboarding (and other forms of torture) is illegal, ineffective, and simply creates more enemies than it catches/kills. But he's in a position to DO something about it, and I've seen nothing from him to indicate he'll take the principled moral stand if his political career will suffer because of it.
