    If you don't go back right away you might not ever and never conquer your fear. That's why we say "if a horse throws you, get back on and ride him".

    When I was kid I fell off my bike and hurt myself. It took a LONG WHILE to get out there and try it again. I was ten. I think it would still take me a long while to get back on it.
