Go to Scarborough Fair. They have sage there, along with parsley, rosemary and thyme. Lol:)

  • Of course ... It's good practice to keep all those things you like next to each other... Saves searching for them when you're in a hurry :)

We have a good sized Polish population around here, including a Polish butcher shop. When I was a wee lad, the local radio station played that stupid song. Damn accordions!

No one needs to know this but....
I took accordion lessons for 2 years.  My Aunt Janet was Polish and played a few tunes and I worshipped her.  I was 7.  I needed a role model and she was it.  For a year and I found out I didn't like the accordion. I loved Aunt Janet till her dying breath though.  She is around me.  She definitely was an angel.

I was about 7, bw.  My best friend, Patti Phillips who had an IQ of over 140, was Polish.  This was 1957.  Back then Polish people were not Polish. They were Polocks.   It was a dirty word.  I was Italian.  Patty's mom called me a grease ball, dago and wop.  This was all done with kind of a trash-talking, fun and silly demeanor.  That is how we coped with racism and bigotry back then.  We kiddingly joked about which tribe was the best one.  No one was burning anyone's house down.

Now I mention Patty's IQ for a reason.  Despite her intelligence, this girl grew up to be a huge bigot.  Where did I go wrong?

We used to sing this song as kids.  We danced to it and LOVED this song.  Memories......

I, too, am missing the sage.

Instead, I get a line of text which says "image of burning sage smudge stick"

Even if I disable by JavaScript blocker, the image does not appear.

This is true whether I use Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Exploder. My guess is somehow ad-blocking software is interfering with the loading of the image.
