Do you think it's right that the people trying to abolish the constitution and certain amendments should be celebrating the 4th of July?

Takes some freaking nerve huh!!! They don't believe in what our forefathers laid out for our freedoms yet they don't mind celebrating them, there's a word for that but I won't write it.

  • Independence is a good thing in itself even if you're still far from perfect. It's better to be an imperfect country than an imperfect country's bitch. So I think all can celebrate even if they are clueless about what is best for their country.

  • I don't understand why people keep saying our forefathers laid out our freedoms but they still had human slaves and demolished the freedoms the natives had before these European forefathers took their freedom from them. What's up with that?

I think of the same thing when I hear the fireworks going off. Too many people don't care about the constitution and want to destroy it. Our founding fathers wanted to limit the power of the federal government, now too many want the feds to have even more power.

Our founding fathers were not perfect, the slaves, Indians were shameful. There is more to the constitution than that.
