    I'm certain that is not the only word he omitted.  Every dictionary I own is missing SOME word somewhere.

    Perhaps Johnson refused to acknowledge that people sometimes eat pig bowels stuffed with pig muscles and other ingredients.

    Great answer, BW, and quite humorous.  But think on it.  How many words ARE there?  Did he manage to find them ALL save a sausage definition.  Unlikely. 


    I don't have that particular dictionary, but I have many good ones and I have never found a dictionary that has EVERY word.  When they don't contain a word I am looking for, obviously they are missing a whole lot of them.
