I am very much a go with the flow type... i pretty much am easy when it comes to doing things as i am happy to do anything, go anywhere..eat anything, drink anything.. i am truly not fussy.. and i am the same in live..happy to see what life brings me..
Does the dam have controllable spillways? Does it generate hydro-electric power? Does it feed an irrigation and supply system? How does it affect the downstream ecologies and livelihoods?
I suspect that building a dam puts you in the leader's role.
I choose the flow that helps carry me where I want to go.
Imagine a sailor who must use navigation, allow for currents, winds, weather, and underwater shoals, must tack across headwinds, meet big waves at 90º, and must through all this manage to arrive at the chosen destination. In that situation, I'm mostly either a deckhand or a soloist.
On leadership - the following is horribly wibbly-wobbly, but I think that's how I am. I might choose to try to set an example, but in all other respects be passive, not giving any directions unless asked. Although I can shift roles if I have to, usually I'm neither the leader nor the led, but sail in partnership with Ari. I will step up if I have to. Back when I was a teacher, I found I had no difficulty in leading. If I have a preference, it is to take a background position, to sometimes influence with gentle nudges but otherwise leave it to the leaders to lead.
