Government bigwigs never suffer. They always do just fine. Don't Embargoes hurt the "little people". Why would you want to do that?

I think sometimes there is no choice? or those who impose it feel there is no choice..I think everyone knows that it hurts the little people but i guess the feeling is to try to make the bigwigs feel guilt, shame and a desire to stop doing whatever it was they were doing in order to prevent the suffering and hardships of their people...whether they are right, whether it actually works or whether there's a better way is a different matter.. I agree I am not sure it really has the desired effect.
