    My first thought is Whitney Houston.  She could not dance and had much assistance with stage presence.  But sing?  She is queen!!

    They are two different modes of expression. 

    I don't think MOST singers care one whit about dancing.  If you want to go to Las Vegas and be an act, then you need to dance.  Unless you are black.  All black people must dance.    You people have natural rhythm and cannot help yourselves.

    1.  Many singers also incorporate dance as part of the act/craft, even those who are not performing in Las Vegas.

    I've stated many times that I don't know how to dance.  That doesn't absolve you of stereotyping.
