Some folks buy books with the title "_________for Dummies". Now why would you reward someone who thinks you're a dummy by buying the book?

I guess some folks don't mind being insulted or demeaned or putdown. That was why an insulting comedian like Don Rickles made it big. Makes no sense to me but he was a very popular PUTDOWN guy. Do you like to be putdown/insulted/condescended to/demeaned?   Would you pay money for it? Why?
