WHAT is the correct answer?

    Yes the clock would show 3 o'clock but that would not be the correct time.

  • Assuming the clock was set to the correct time before the move the time would be 2:15 plus whatever the difference was in the time it took to move it.

    This cannot be answered from the information given. We do not know if the time on the clock is correct or not. If it is, then moving the hand does not change the time, it only changes what the clock shows.
