Why is the average height in Colombia shorter than average person in the USA?

Racism.

Because people on average are shorter in Columbia than in the US. That's why.

The USA has enjoyed surplus food supplies for hundreds of years.. That's many generations of people who have grown up never having experienced famine.. The larger woman grow the larger the babies they can have.. The larger a baby starts out at birth the more it will grow if it too never experiences any famine in it's life.. If you get a run of 5 generations of people always having enough food and ever experiencing any famine then your people will get progressively taller and bigger .. That's why The USA has a higher average height then most other countries.. 

Nations that experience a lot of famine episodes will experience a shrinking of their people over the generations.. As poorly fed mothers give birth to underweight babies... Some nations are experiencing the shrinking of their people..

Well why am I short? My mom is 4'11 my dad is 5'5 my sister is 5'1 I am 5'4 my grandparents both side aren't tall. I am shorter than average American guy!
