In what context? When I see the words equal and equality I generally do not agree with the premise.
Equal opportunity is not the same as being equal.
Neither good intentions nor any law will ever make me a good singer, or at 5''3", qualified to be the center on any basketball team. If, despite my lack of talent or height, I can try out...I have equal opportunity. If I am hired, despite my lack of qualifications, we f'ed up in our quest for "equality". If the qualifications are changed to accomodate my lack...we royally f'ed up.
