What system of government serves the people best ASSUMING IT IS NOT CORRUPT? Why?

Ideally Pols are honest and truthful and are in office to SERVE THE PEOPLE not themselves or some rigid political ideology.  Has it ever happened anywhere? Is it an impossible dream?

  • This question is nearly impossible to answer.  We haven't seen one really. Different systems can equally serve well if they aren't corrupt.  Different systems serve the people's interest in different ways so the benefit is subjective to the desires of the person or population.  A system that only works if it isn't corrupt but is easily corrupted doesn't really people at all and isn't safe or good.  ( A system that gives officials lots of reach and power but where people say things like " as long as the right people are in charge" is bad system and severely flawed).

Outside of totalitarian systems based on oppression they all have their ups and downs. Good and bad.

    Hello Rosie:

A benevolent dictatorship.  Benevolent, meaning he takes care of his people, and dictatorship, meaning he DOES it WITHOUT opposition..
