Okey dokey. Are y'all receiving your notifications? Any glitches in your email alerts? is participating in Answermug easy peasy?

So far today I have received ZERO notifications. Now it could be that no one is answering any questions in which case there is nothing about which to be notified. If so no problemo. But in case you HAVE answered any of them today I won't know it because I am not being notified. Happy Thursday to all and to all a good day! :)

Yes. there are glitches in 'my e-mail notifications'. I have taken GREAT care to uncheck each and every chekbox in settings, but I still get some notifications.

I really, honestly, do not want them.

Please double check this list: http://answermug.com/members/settings/notifications and make sure all of yours are unchecked. If they are and you still get an email, either forward it to me or copy/paste it into a message on the site, please.

On-site notifications or email notifications? If it's email, have you added us to your safe-sender list or not-spam list or whatever your provider calls it yet? I don't expect it to spontaneously resolve- you will have to adjust your email settings in your email program and if that doesn't work, please check with your provider to see if we got blacklisted. I don't think that's the case, but it sounds like your provider does see those messages as spam and isn't letting you have them- usually there's an easy way to fix that in your personal email settings.

If there's an issue with on-site notifications, let me know.

I'm still getting mine. Are you using one of the standard browsers?

There is still no way to know which notifications I have read and which I haven't.  Can you please have them marked in a definitive way once they have been read?  This has been and still is the biggest problem here to me.

It's on our list. I've actually started working with a new developer recently, so hopefully we'll start to see more progress with clearing up those issues soon.
