Dakota pipeline protesters must vacate the land by Monday. Meanwhile vets are going there to join the protest. Tragedy ahead?

One or two thousand vets plan to serve as human shields. Others may travel there to join as well.  I do not see how it can possibly end well. I hope I'm wrong. By Tuesday the temps are forecast to drop to below zero with high winds. That might drive the protesters away.

PET has already said he would change the future in favor of Vets. This was part of his election talk. Those pipeline protesters will have to freeze it alone.

I don't know what is going to happen on Monday but I did hear that between 1000 and 2000 vets will be going to join the Dakota pipeline protesters. I don't know if they will be armed. I'm sure the "authorities" will have no problem using the weapons they will undoubtedly be carrying. Probably tear gas will be plentiful as well. As for what PET said. He lies all the time but even if in this case what he says is true that has nothing to do with this issue bh.  The vets are joining the protest with the Native Americans. A pipeline under a river whose water is used for drinking is potentially lethal. Oil pipelines leak all the time. Why should this one be an exception?  Also it is on sacred ground which obviously means nothing to the pipeline builder or to you but it means everything to the Native Americans. I take it you are against their protest. I don't suppose you could put yourself in their place. Try to imagine yourself protecting YOUR children from being poisoned by oil leaking into their drinking water. What would YOU do to protect YOUR family bh? Wouldn't you protest too? Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday! :)

Armed? Oh, my. That's not nice. Anyway, we did have a benzine pipeline break upstream from our municipal water supply. It killed thousands of fish, but did not actually enter our water towers and drinking water. Every man, woman, and child was paid $1,700 by the pipeline owners. Any municipal water supply is generally safeguarded against oil pipeline breakage, thanks to EPA requirements. Those pipeline protesters need to get updated.

I don't know what will happen MaCC but I fear some/many people will get hurt. How badly I don't know. The protesters are trying to protect their water source. Having an oil pipeline run beneath a river is just asking for trouble. Also it is on sacred Native American ground. They are not protesting the pipeline. They are protesting the LOCATION of the pipeline. It can be rerouted. It will probably cost more money and take more time but so what? Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday! :)
