Did we have another mass exodus from another site?

Fresh meat!

His. Lovely ones. You shouldn't have such long coffee breaks. ;-)

Hey, it's good seeing you again. You've been missed.

Thank you Sapphic... it's always nice to hear that I've been missed :)

  • I would just like to second that ... And maybe add all those who wander in the wilderness may not be lost ...

  • Yes, you must have missed it. Quite a few people have come here from blurtit.com, including myself. Horrible management and they don't care about the people who use their site. Quite a few coming here now. There will be more when they have to deal with that lousy stuck up manager a few times and not with us two Admins who helped people all the time. They just don't care and that will be the end of them. I was there for four years !

  • I was but the Limeys that owned the site thought I was too personal with the users. They don't want any interaction with the Mods and users. Dumb !

  • Limeys? In Oz we call them Pommies (but don't tell Ray Dart I said so).

  • Get your stars off our flag (btw, nice job with your boys and the willow on leather. Tsk, tsk).

  • I apologise for messing up the flag. We're planning on a new one but it's not gonna come any time soon. The Kiwis are also looking at a new design but nobody's in a hurry there, either.

The big problem is that the younger royals, in spite of their shenanigans, are very popular on the flip side of the planet. They're so much more human than the old brigade.

  • My apologies, Didge. Oblique references to cricket just spill out from time to time.
And the royals? As a die hard Republican myself I'm tempted to bastardise Shakespeare but fear that may be a condemnation too far.
(Republican in the sense of anti-monarchal, of course, and not the other sort). This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at December 8, 2016 10:59 AM MST

I don't know where they are all coming from, but I am seeing a lot of new faces.
This place is busting at the seams.
    Welcome all!
