I thought PET would eliminate ALL gun restrictions. BUT does he really want citizens armed with any weapon? jWhat if they turn on him?

Maybe he needs to think it through. When he lets his peeps down what does he think they'll do? Cry or become enraged, pull out their weapons and head for him? I suppose it would be difficult to carry cannons with them but flame throwers, howitzers? They're portable aren't they? They could also threaten him with bombs and drones and poison gas. This could get very very hairy. I mean the intense unrelenting hatred they directed at Hillary can easily be redirected to PET if he doesn't come through for them. Wonder what the NRA would advise PET to do?
