    Nobody wants to be married to a guy named Goober, Barney, or Gomer. Floyd is just a dork. Oppie is too young and Aunt Bee was married at one time as was Andy.

  • But not anymore they aren't( on the show).  Barney had a GF so.

    None of the other characters ever mentioned being married either. They were all dorks on the show.
