Do you think the 2020s will be roaring?

If by "roaring" you mean the first of the Resource Depletion Wars breaking out, then I think there's a decent chance of it.

If by "roaring" you mean a major economic expansion, then I strongly doubt it.

I plan on roaring again in 2017 ... I can't wait till 2020.

In the 1920s the world was recovering from WWI, America had introduced Prohibition which led to all manner of crime and to a myriad of speak-easies, and we were just beginning to shed the inhibitions and phony modesty of the Victorian era. 2020 doesn't suggest any of that. Media outlets will probably dub it the new Roaring 20s but it's likely to be a decade like any other.

Except... will the generation born in the 1920s be known as the Roarers?
