Are you staying?

I've really tried but this new format makes no sense, is Totally! different than the last one of which I was so fond.  This is my goodbye to Friends and all.  Going back to give AB a try since it is up and running with seemingly few if anw difficulties.  So long and farewell.

  • Granted I wasn't on the old site very much or very long yet I'm at a loss when I hear people saying it was easier than it is now.   It was way more convoluted and weird before than it is now.  The old format just didn't make sense.   The like option  was weird,  the limit or replies, no reply tracker.   What was better before?  It was a PITA compared to now.

  • As well it should.  Though a senior myself I'm not so spunky, abhorrent to what I consider radical change as AM has recently experienced.  Who knows, I may yet return.  I know not my next move.

    Well, I don't have the basis for comparison here as you do as I'm fairly new to this site, but I seem to be having that problem on another site.  In the end, we are the only ones who can decide what's best for us.  Happy Holidays. :)

  • At least by a very few.  But I do thank you for saying so.  I do remember the good 'ol days with AM 1.0 fondly, as well as all the great friends I met and conversed with.  And yes you are certainly included.  Take care Alf.

  • I'm not sure how much longer I'll be here myself. I'm not real fond of the turn this site has taken. It's more difficult to have fun on here these days. Every little comment seems to draw criticism and attacks. I don't care for the new format either, it's got too many problems. I've been on here less and less and will probably just decide to leave for good before too long.

  • Karen!!!  My dear friend, I've been trying to find you for some time but this site is simply too difficult - more than necessary - to peruse seeking my friends.  Please stay in touch.  Do you have my email address?  I have missed you.  Haven't had much time to spend on this site or the other but I do miss you so.  I must go now.  Wishing all the best for you and your family.  This is a terrible time for me.  Probably the most words I have written in months.  Take care my dearest.
