Would you let an uneducated/inexperienced/ignorant person operate on you? Why?

But there is no problem giving an uneducated/inexperienced/ignorant person the power to "run" your country or support uneducated/inexperienced/ignorant whom he selects to serve in government. How does that make any sense?

It doesn't make any sense but still we got through it the last eight years and now we can move on.

Seriously, anyone who could say those things about Donald Trump must get all their news from the television and Twitter. Have you any idea what this man has accomplished in his life? It totally dwarfs any other President in modern history. ...and for a person to think the President 'runs' the country shows another major error. I would say 'direct may be more appropriate. The ability to delegate the proper people to get the various jobs done in any organization is the key to success.

This country hired the worst President in History eight years ago and it will take time to recover from that, not to mention the ones before him. The idea that we need a career politician as president is absurd.

Did NASA hire experienced space travelers for the first space missions?

Donald Trump would have been loved by liberals had he ran on the democratic ticket but their was Hillary to contend with. He ran as a Republican to get elected. He is a very wise man, well-connected, knows people that can get anything done. I know many of you are worried about your stock returns and dividends because he wasn't purchased like all the other candidates.

He is an American, what is more he is our President. Instead of complaining about such things, if I felt this strongly, I'd write him a letter on a daily basis offering advice and offering a helping hand instead of criticism. I don't know what you hope to gain by it other than an argument. He is flawed in certain areas but every man is. He has a proven track record of getting the results he sets goals for.

I am guilty of criticism of Hillary, Bill, Obama, G.W and others but they each were our leaders...except Hillary and I have prayed they do what is best for our country, not what I think is best but what is actually best. All these preconceived notions we have about people that we won't even take time to read their books and get to know them, make us the ignorant ones.

SIGH.  Typical Obama-hater response. Programmed/predictable/per rigid ideology. You cannot escape it apparently. Thank you for your reply. The partisan script never varies. Not even one word. SIGH

Yeah, but he is correct. I had brain surgeries back in the 50's when it was relatively new. So the surgeon was inexperienced. It takes a certain patience to explore the great unknown. A certain bravery. I had no choice in the matter ------ I was only 5 years old, but my parents had no choice. Sometimes you have to trust and take a chance based on the experience of the surgeon.  This post was edited by B.H.Wilson at December 9, 2016 7:32 PM MST
