I would note Der Pumpkinfuher has made a long career of NOT paying his bills. Not paying his creditors, not paying his employees, not paying anyone with his charitable foundation, etc....;-D...

I suppose it's nice work if you can get it....;-D... This post was edited by OldSchoolTheSKOSlives at December 11, 2016 6:17 PM MST

  • Nope, we weren't born to pay bills and die. We were born to pay taxes and die. Bills are just the added entertainments.

  • The only things that matter are the things we decide matter. I doubt that anyone only cares about paying bills.

  • Nah. Depends where you find yourself on Maslow's pyramid. In the West all of us should have progressed at least to Level 4 with a great number of people at Level 5. Bill-paying is only at Level 2.

I think most people are at level 2 or maybe 2.5.

Is level 3 considered not that hot garbage in life?

    Nope:

In the language of flowers, one of the meanings of the hyacinth is “a constant source of joy.”

If of thy mortal goods thou art bereft
    And from thy slender store
Two loaves alone to thee are left,
Sell one, and with the dole,
Buy hyacinths to feed thy soul.
