Can you implant a computer chip in someone that will be "live" 24/7 and record everything the chip wearer says?

PET and "The Kids" should each have chip implants so we can know for sure that no one ever discusses any business at any time either behind close doors, over the phone and by mental telepathy. FOR FOUR YEARS. Otherwise we have to take their word for it. Now how much is the "word" of PET worth on the open market and his kids are chips off the old block so lying for them would be no problem either.

There was an interesting article within the past few months -- I think in Atlantic magazine -- which argued effectively that TOO MUCH transparency in our government can be a problem.

As anyone who has ever paid attention to sports, business, politics (in any form), etc., when EVERYTHING is "on the record", people become cautious, guarded, and reluctant to say anything that might backfire upon them.

Often, the ability to explore solutions (especially ones which require compromise of stated principles) requires being "off the record"

I don't think we necessarily need to know what Trump says in private. His public utterances are enough to illustrate what a turd he is.

Oh yes.  The CLINTONS and their foundation.  How important that is to keep for posterity.
